For 40 years L'bidi Gallery and Framing Workshop has been providing a bespoke framing service and staging exhibitions of work by leading Artists and Craftsmen. In that time we have built a reputation in Cambridgeshire and beyond for the high standard of work exhibited in the gallery and the personal attention to detail and quality of our framing work.
In 2009 we moved from St. Ives to Abbots Ripton near Huntingdon. We are really pleased with the new Gallery in the Forge, which has been beautifully converted for us and there is now ample FREE PARKING outside the Gallery.
L’bidi is the ideal place to find a special gift. We have pieces perfect for Weddings, Christenings, Birthdays, Retirement, Christmas presents or just to treat yourself.
Thank you all for coming to preview our Ruby Anniversary Exhibition.
It was a great atmosphere for the opening - 16 artists have produced a super show of paintings.
The watercolour demo by Derek Massey was fabulous- informative and entertaining.
Derek drew the winning golden ticket- the lucky recipient receiving the amazing Carry Akroyd Original.
Here’s to the next 40 years!
When L’bidi was established in 1983 the aim was to bring together the best in two and three dimensional work by contemporary British artists. We think this has been achieved with a beautifully balanced display of creative work in various mediums.
L’bidi has offered a comprehensive, bespoke framing service, on the premises, for over 30 years. We advise our customers on all aspects of framing. This includes the more unusual examples i.e. medal boxes, fabrics….etc which need special requirements.
We carry a large range of mouldings, (wood and metal) a good selection of mount colour and quality, various glass types and conservation options. Framing in the correct material, profile, colour and proportion will enhance and protect the artwork for display and therefore your enjoyment.
We have both private and business customers.
